Application Fee

Every admissions application for a HUHS diploma program, undergraduate degree program or graduate program must be accompanied by a nonrefundable application fee of $75.00 (except in the case of denial of admission or cancellation within five days of signing an enrollment agreement).

Enrollment Fee

Students will pay a one-time enrollment fee. The enrollment fees are as follow: Undergraduate degree program – $200 USD; Diploma program – $100 USD; Individual course – $50 USD. A student has five (5) calendar days after signing an enrollment agreement  to cancel enrollment and receive a full refund of all monies paid to the institution.


Tuition Policy

Tuition payment is due upon submission of the enrollment agreement into an individual course, a diploma program or a degree program. Tuition must be paid in U.S. currency, by check, money order, or credit card.

Tuition must be paid on an individual basis for each course you are currently taking (e.g., pay the tuition for one course if you are taking only one course at a time or for two courses if you are taking two courses at a time). Tuition can be paid in one payment or two equal (non-interest) payments over 30 days.

Diploma Programs $4,505- $4,770*

For the diploma programs in Dietary Supplement Science, Women’s Nutrition, and Small Business Management: 18 credit hours are required for completion. The Herbal Sciences Diploma Program is 17 credit hours. If approved, a student may transfer a maximum of 6 credit hours toward satisfying requirements of a diploma program.

Associate of Science in Applied Nutrition Degree Program $16,165*

Sixty-one credit hours are required for completion of an associate’s degree. Depending upon the amount of transfer credit approved, a student may be required to take 16 (this includes credit by examination and transferred credit ) to 61 semester hours in order to graduate.

Associate of Science in Integrative Nutrition Degree Program  $16,165*

Sixty-one credit hours are required for completion of an associate’s degree. Depending upon the amount of transfer credit approved, a student may be required to take 16 (these hours includes credit by examination, and transferred credit) to 61 semester hours in order to graduate.

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Degree Program $31,800*

One hundred twenty credit hours are required for completion of this bachelor’s degree. Depending upon the amount of transfer credit approved, a student may be required to take 25 (this includes credit by examination and transferred credit) to 120 semester hours in order to graduate.

Bachelor of Science in Integrative Nutrition Degree Program $31,800*

One hundred twenty credit hours are required for completion of this bachelor’s degree. Depending upon the amount of transfer credit approved, a student may be required to take 25 (this includes credit by examination and transferred credit) to 120 semester hours in order to graduate.

Tuition Schedule

The per course undergraduate rate for students formally enrolled in a diploma or degree program is $265 per credit hour.

Other General Service Fees

  • Graduation Fee: $50
  • Reactivation fee:  $50
  • Returned check fee or Denied Credit Card Fee:  $25
  • Extension of Time fee (12 weeks):  $50
  • Transcript fee (no cost for first transcript request):  $5
  • Credit by Examination:  $150
  • Final Exam through Remote Proctor (cost is per exam):  $15

Fees must be paid in U.S. currency, by check, money order, or credit card and are non-refundable.

Textbook Cost

The costs of textbooks are not included in the quoted tuition. Students may purchase textbooks from a vendor of their choice. For a complete list of textbooks, see Booklist.
