BIO231 Anatomy and Physiology II
3 semester hour credits
(Prerequisite: Anatomy and Physiology I)
Continuation of human anatomy and physiological principles from BIO230, including the endocrine system, blood, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, the importance of immunity, digestive system and nutrition, respiratory system, urinary system, water, electrolyte, and acid-base balance, reproductive systems, pregnancy, growth, development, genetics, and genomics. Course includes interactive physiology lab simulations.
