(Prerequisite: Anatomy and Physiology I)
Exercise Physiology is an introductory course that explores the muscular, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and metabolic responses and the physiological adaptations that occur during exercise. Concepts related to physical fitness, body composition and weight control, and training principles and dietary supplementation are discussed. It is recommended that students complete Understanding Nutrition I prior to enrolling in this course.
