Dr. Dana M. Elia, DCN, MS, RDN, LDN, FAND is an integrative and functional nutrition doctor and a licensed, registered dietitian-nutritionist with over 25 years of experience. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Dana relocated to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 2001. She is the owner of Fusion Integrative Health and Wellness, LLC, which in 2019 received the Best of Lancaster award in the nutritionist category. She is also the author of The Stem Cell Activation Diet released in March 2020.
An active member of the functional nutrition community, Dr. Dana serves on the executive committee of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, where she holds the Past Chair position and previously served as Chair, Chair-elect, Treasurer, and Member Services chair. As a recognized leader in integrative and functional nutrition, Dr. Dana is frequently asked to provide content reviews for conventional and integrative and functional nutrition projects
Dr. Dana’s dedication and fervor for the power within food as medicine stems from her own personal journey with autoimmune disease and a rare form of sarcoma. With a passion for ongoing education and a drive to give her patients the best level of care, Dr. Dana completed her doctorate in clinical functional nutrition (DCN) through the Maryland University of Integrative Health, where in 2019 she was awarded the Student Research Poster Award. In her free time, she loves hiking, camping, kayaking, scuba diving, traveling with her husband James and family, or spoiling her rescued furbabies, Champ, Jasper, and George.
